Welcome back after the holidays and Happy New Year!
Here’s a palmtree in Palma from when we were down to see the Christmas lights the second time, beacuse the first time the Churreria had closed – disaster!!
I’ve had a lovey time with family and friends and time to settle in more in our new house.
It feels wonderful to finally be in our own place after a year’s search. We’re in the north part of the village and it takes us a minute and we’re out in the countryside with walks towards the mountains. To get to the centre of the village in the opposite direction – maybe four minutes. We’ve really found Binissalem a pleasant town! Always different restaurants open, events happening and people are so friendly! We’ve tried out a few of the local restaurants already since we rented a whie before and now we’re starting to recognize the locals more and more. And know where to get food and at what time and day!
Today is the first day of school and exactly one year since we came here. It was great for the kids to see their friends and driving back I really enjoyed the wonderful sunlight and the sense of spring arriving on the island. We haven’t had cold weather this year but definitely a little shorter days and that’s changing now. Days are visibly getting longer for each day.
Now that Christmas and New year’s is past us I can put all of my energy on work and I love it! The first retreat is planned fo the 22nd-26th of February and we have the most AMAZING location in Valldemossa. I’m doing the first retreat with Therese who’ll be in charge of yoga and sound healing and I’m delivering RTT meditations and PQ-Coaching. Of course there’ll be cultural happenings like wine tasting and market visits, hiking and the obligatory trip to the sea. This retreat, my friends – it’s simply “A treat”
